昨天晚间就看到BurstNET关闭的通知，想写点东西，却又不知从何说起。
Burst又称为84，是我使用的第一台VPS，那是2010年，从淘宝购买，友服网代购的(貌似那时候他还没自己开机房租机器)，那时候我没PayPal，对VPS纯白状态。
博客对于84介绍过很多次，在相当长的时间里，对他的介绍中，都特别说明跑路风险近乎于0。
最后一次博客对他的介绍是今年一月，去年底以来，84相继更换CEO，更换老板(转让)，更换机房，无论是产品质量还是客服质量都每况愈下。
目前，Burst有一个通告，提供了服务终止时间，但是没有提及年付用户的剩余时间款项问题，若不退还，则为跑路。
It is with great regret that we inform you that all of your services with BurstNET will be terminating on your next billing cycle/renewal/current expiration of purchased services but in all cases no later than July 25th, 2014. If you are a CO-Location client you can disregard this message. Your services will persist.
You will have until July 24th to migrate your services to other providers. On July 25th all services will be terminated.
We apologize for any inconveniences and wish you and your businesses great success.

其实在这个月7号，我收到了一份Burst发布的9折优惠信息邮件，我就给他们发了一个工单说，如果他们继续工单不理，产品越来越差，关门大吉是唯一出路。。。。好吧，被我乌鸦嘴不幸言中。
我不知道目前还有多少读者仍然在使用Burst的产品，若您仍在使用，请务必在7月25日前处理好您的数据备份。
经常有读者在博客留言，***主机商会跑路么？***的跑路风险大么？通过此事，再次验证了一个真理：任何IDC都有倒闭和跑路的风险，月付和备份是降低损失的最有效手段。同时，也给那些张口闭口国人IDC不可信的人扇了一个大耳刮子：跑路这种事不是中国人的专利！
